The Stahl Headers engine dyno was started in the late 1970's and finished in the '80's using some of the most advanced technology available at the time.  Some more modern improvements have been made as recent as 2009.  Below you will find a listing of the equipment considered part of the dyno Package.  We would like to sell the entire package but may consider selling the parts for the right price.

  • Stuska single rotor water brake (current setup).  Brake frame is set up for Stuska dual rotor brake which was last used.

 

  • Complete oil system including heater/cooler, oil flowmeter, and Dry Sump reservoir thus easily converted from Wet Sump to Dry sump. 

 

  • Complete custom data acquisition system with computer. 

 

  • Engine cradle with rail system for mounting a variety of engines.

 

  • Engine cradle is made in two pieces mounted on pillow blocks to allow the cradle to pivot for track bank/turn g-force simulation. 

  • Unique torque calibration utilizing pneumatically controlled weight system. 

  • Engine oil and water preheat system. 

 

  • Selectable fuel system creating the ability to select fuel types from the console. 

 

  • Electronic throttle control.
